I feed/water the chickens, collect eggs, and check on the area of the garden that's my responsibility. I review my lesson plan and schedule for the day, load up my materials and head to school, where I teach 2 kindergarten classes in the garden (we do a sensory scavenger hunt) and two second grade classes on life cycles. We plant seeds or care for the garden and maybe meet a chicken and talk about her life cycle. Then I go back to work and prep for my after school garden club at the home office.
