My path in life has been direct

As a child in a rural town, I learned the values of hard work and community on our family ranch.

Influenced by my mother and grandmother—both of whom were educators—I pursued my own passion for education.

Specializing in special education, I aimed to make an inclusive impact from early childhood.
4.
Moving to Virginia for my husband's law school, I adapted to new settings while holding onto my educational goals.

Returning to Utah, I transitioned to being a stay-at-home mom and became deeply involved in my children's education.

My journey led me to become Utah's First Lady, advocating for teacher wellness and inclusive education.

Championing unified sports, I work towards a more inclusive community, celebrating every student's potential.
